AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Nepal

AirPlans does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Nepal. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give a fixed amount of high‑speed data—3 GB per day for up to 10 days or 500 MB for 30 days—and once that amount is used the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps or 5000 kbps.

Instead, AirPlans offers a range of fixed data plans that give larger, unthrottled allowances for the full validity period. Examples include the 30 GB 30 days plan, the 20 GB 30 days plan, the 15 GB 30 days plan, the 10 GB 30 days plan, and the 5 GB 30 days plan. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless the user requires an extremely high volume of data.

AirPlans does not provide a Nepal eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers who need a voice or text line will need to rely on data-only connectivity, using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for calls and messaging. Since some destinations may restrict access to certain VoIP services, it is advisable to confirm that the apps you intend to use are available in Nepal before purchasing a data‑only plan.

AirPlans offers 22 single‑country data plans for Nepal and does not provide any multi‑country plans. The plans range in price from $3.57 to $146.04 and in data cap from 500 MB to 30 GB, with validity periods between 1 and 30 days. Within the single‑country lineup there are 8 daily data cap plans that limit the data available each day and 14 fixed data cap plans that offer a set amount of data for the entire validity period.
