Maya Mobile eSIM Data Plans for Nepal

Maya Mobile does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Nepal. The plans that carry the name “Unlimited” actually grant a fixed allowance of 5GB per day and, once that daily limit is reached, the speed is reduced to 3Mbps, as the provider’s notes clarify. Because the daily data cap is a hard limit, the plan is best described as a fixed data plan rather than an unlimited one.

Travelers who need large data allowances can choose from Maya Mobile’s fixed data plans that are valid in Nepal, such as the 30‑day plan that offers 5GB per day for $49.99 or the 7‑day plan that provides 5GB per day for $19.99. Both plans include 5G coverage, tethering, and the same daily data limit.

Maya Mobile does not provide eSIM plans for Nepal that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can purchase only data‑only eSIMs from this provider in Nepal.

Since a phone number is not assigned, voice and text messages can be sent and received through internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. These VoIP apps may be blocked or restricted in certain destinations, so it is advisable to check that the applications you rely on remain accessible in Nepal before buying a plan.

The provider offers eight multi‑country plans that include Nepal. No single‑country plans are available.
All eight plans share a fixed data amount of 5 GB, a validity period of 3 to 30 days, and a price range from $9.99 to $299.99. The plans are daily data cap plans, allow tethering, and may reduce speed to 3000 kbps.
