Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Nepal

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Nepal. The provider’s Nepal “Unlimited Data” plans are actually limited to 3 GB per day, after which the speed drops to 1000 kbps.

Travelers who need more data can choose fixed data plans instead. For example, a 30 GB plan for 30 days offers a larger, higher‑speed allowance, and a 40 GB plan for 180 days or an 80 GB plan for 365 days are also available. These fixed‑data options give a definite amount of high‑speed data and can be more cost‑effective for most users.

Tourist eSIM does not offer a Nepal eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for travelers heading to Nepal on this provider.

Users who need voice or text communication can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to confirm that the chosen app functions in Nepal before purchasing.

Tourist eSIM provides 13 single country data plans and 20 multi country data plans for Nepal. The plans cover a price range from $3.47 to $170.05 and data caps between 1 GB and 80 GB, with validity periods from 1 to 365 days. Among the offerings, 4 plans feature a daily data cap while 29 are fixed data plans; daily data cap plans limit the amount of data available each day, whereas fixed data plans provide a total data allowance for the entire validity period. Some plans also allow tethering and offer a reduced speed option of 1000 kbps.
