Tourist eSIM eSIM Data Plans for New Caledonia

Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for New Caledonia.
The plans that carry “Unlimited Data” in their names actually give a fixed high‑speed allowance of 2 GB per day; after that amount is used the speed is throttled to 2000 kbps. For travelers who need an unrestricted data experience, Tourist eSIM offers fixed‑data plans instead. Examples include a 20 GB bundle valid for 30 days at $573.54 or a 10 GB bundle for 7 days at $220.08, both of which allow tethering and can be more cost‑effective for most users unless exceptionally high data consumption is required.

Tourist eSIM does not provide New Caledonia eSIM plans that come with a local phone number or SMS capability; all available plans are data‑only. Travelers can still use voice and messaging through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage while connected to the data network. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain services, so it is advisable to verify that the apps you rely on are accessible in New Caledonia before purchasing a plan.

Tourist eSIM lists 14 single‑country data plans that cover New Caledonia and one multi‑country plan that includes New Caledonia among its destinations. Some of the single‑country options give a fixed amount of data for the entire validity period, while others use a daily data cap that resets each day. Across all plans the price ranges from roughly $29 to $621, and the data caps vary from 1 GB up to 20 GB.
