DashRoam eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

DashRoam does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for New Zealand. All of its New Zealand‑specific offerings have a fixed data cap, the largest of which is 50 GB for 180 days.

Travelers who need a large amount of data can choose a fixed data plan such as the 50 GB 180‑day option or the 20 GB 30‑day plan. These plans are available at $52.13 USD and $24.18 USD respectively and include 5G coverage in New Zealand. Fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless a traveler expects to consume data beyond the plan’s allowance.

DashRoam does not provide New Zealand eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are available for that destination. Travelers who need voice or text can use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection, but the availability of these services is not guaranteed in all regions, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on work in New Zealand before purchasing a plan.

DashRoam lists nine single‑country data plans that are specifically designed for use within New Zealand. In addition, New Zealand is included in a larger selection of multi‑country plans – 28 in total – which allow users to roam across many destinations while keeping their data. The available plans vary from as little as 100 MB of data to 50 GB, and prices run from roughly $1.45 to $152.86.
