RedSim eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

RedSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for New Zealand. Plans that use “Unlimited” in the name (for example New Zealand Unlimited 3 Days) actually grant 3 GB of high‑speed data per day and fall to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the day.
For travelers looking for a high‑capacity option, RedSim offers fixed‑data plans such as 20 GB for 30 days (priced at $22.99 USD) or 10 GB for 30 days (priced at $14.24 USD), which remain available throughout the validity period without a speed reduction.

RedSim does not provide eSIM plans for New Zealand that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available products are data‑only eSIMs, so travelers cannot receive or make traditional voice calls or SMS messages with a local number.

Instead, users can rely on standard internet access to use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for calls and messaging. However, some destinations may restrict or block specific apps or VoIP services, so travelers should verify that the services they need are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing an eSIM.

RedSim offers 16 single‑country plans and 14 multi‑country plans that include New Zealand. The available plans range in price from $1.74 to $53.59 and provide data caps from 1 GB up to 20 GB. They are divided into two main styles: fixed data cap plans, where a set amount of data is available for the entire validity period, and daily data cap plans, where the data allotment is distributed evenly over the days. No other plan types are indicated for New Zealand.
