Roamic eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

Roamic does not provide a genuinely unlimited data eSIM for New Zealand. The plans that use the name “Unlimited” give the carrier 3GB of high‑speed data for the stated validity period and then throttle speed to 1000 kbps once that allowance is reached. Therefore the data cap is capped at 3GB and the plan is not unlimited.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, Roamic offers several fixed data plans. For example, a 50GB plan valid for 30 days costs $38.00 USD, while a 20GB plan for the same period costs $17.00 USD and a 10GB 30‑day plan is available for $10.00 USD. These fixed‑data options give a higher volume of high‑speed data before any speed reduction occurs.

Roamic does not provide a New Zealand eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans from Roamic for New Zealand. If a phone number or text messaging is required, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in New Zealand before buying a plan.

Roamic provides 14 single‑country data plans for New Zealand, with no multi‑country options. The plans cover prices between $2.00 and $52.00, data caps ranging from 1 GB to 50 GB, and validity periods from 1 to 30 days. Among these 14 plans, seven feature a daily data cap, limiting usage each day, while the other seven offer a fixed data amount for the entire validity period.
