ZenSim eSIM Data Plans for New Zealand

ZenSim does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for New Zealand. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” still have a fixed daily allowance of 3 GB per day and, once that limit is reached, the speed reduces to 1000 kbps.

If a traveler needs more data, ZenSim offers fixed data plans, such as the 40 GB plan valid for 30 days or the 20 GB plan valid for 15 days, which provide a larger high‑speed data allowance without an unlimited cap.

ZenSim does not offer a New Zealand eSIM plan that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. All available plans for New Zealand are data‑only eSIMs.

Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict these apps. It is advisable to verify that the messaging and calling apps you rely on are accessible in New Zealand before purchasing a plan.

ZenSim offers 13 single‑country plans for New Zealand and 16 multi‑country plans that include New Zealand. Prices range from about $5.00 to $119.00 USD, and data caps span from 1 GB up to 40 GB. The plans are split into two main types: fixed data‑amount packages, which provide a set amount of data for the validity period, and daily data‑cap packages, where you are limited to a certain amount of data each day. The single‑country options are all fixed‑data, while the multi‑country options include both daily‑cap and fixed‑data plans.
