AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Nigeria

AirPlans does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Nigeria. The plans that contain “Unlimited” in the name are fixed‑data plans that offer a set amount of high‑speed data per day; after the allotted data is consumed the speed is throttled (for example, to 512kbps or 1, 000kbps).

If a traveler needs a large data allowance, AirPlans offers fixed data plans such as the 50GB, 30GB, and 20GB bundles valid for 30 days. These plans deliver the listed amount of high‑speed data without throttling and can be more cost‑effective if the user anticipates heavy data usage.

AirPlans does not provide an eSIM for Nigeria that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for travelers in Nigeria. Users who need voice or text services can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Nigeria before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

AirPlans offers 26 single‑country plans and 26 multi‑country plans that include Nigeria. The available packages range in price from about $3.42 to $204.75 and provide data caps between 500 MB and 50 GB. Some plans use a fixed data amount, while others apply a daily data cap, giving travelers flexibility based on their usage patterns. Many of the plans allow tethering, and reduced‑speed options are available at 512 kbps, 1280 kbps, or 1000 kbps for certain packages.
