Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Nigeria

Nomad does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Nigeria. Travelers who need data in Nigeria can choose from several fixed‑data options such as the Nigeria 20 GB 45‑day plan, the Nigeria 10 GB 30‑day plan, or the Nigeria 5 GB 30‑day plan. These plans offer tethering and cover the entire country. Selecting a fixed‑data plan can be more cost effective for users who consume significant amounts of data, while those who need unlimited usage would need to look beyond Nomad’s offerings.

Nomad does not provide an eSIM for Nigeria that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers can only purchase data‑only plans, which allow internet use but do not enable voice calls or text messages through the network. However, popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a local phone number or SMS.

Nomad supplies a total of nine data plans for travellers in Nigeria, split between single‑country and multi‑country options. Five of those plans cover only Nigeria, while four give access across several countries in addition to Nigeria. All of Nomad’s plans in Nigeria range from about $8 to $57, with data caps from 1 GB up to 20 GB and validity periods between 7 and 45 days. The plans are primarily fixed‑data packages; some of them also allow tethering, letting you share the data with other devices if that option is selected.
