FootySIMs eSIM Data Plans for Nigeria

FootySIMs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Nigeria. All of their plans for that destination have a hard data cap; the highest option is a 1GB/day allowance that lasts 7 days or 30 days, after which speed is throttled to 512 kbps.

If a traveler needs more data without any hard limit, they can purchase a fixed‑data plan such as “Nigeria — 1GB · 7 days, ” which delivers 1 GB of high‑speed data for a week, or “Nigeria — Unlimited · 7 days” and “Nigeria — Unlimited · 30 days, ” each giving 1 GB per day with reduced speed after the daily quota is reached. These fixed plans may be more cost‑effective unless the user requires a truly unlimited data experience.

FootySIMs does not provide an eSIM for Nigeria that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans for that destination. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Nigeria before purchasing, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

FootySIMs offers three single‑country data plans for Nigeria. All cut‑off data caps are 1 GB and validity periods range from 7 to 30 days. Prices for these plans fall between $4.83 and $173.25, giving customers a wide spread of affordability options. There are no multi‑country plans. Within the single‑country bundle, two plans use a daily data cap model while the remaining one provides a fixed‑amount data cap.
