Hiroaming eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Hiroaming does not provide any unlimited data eSIM for Africa. The provider offers fixed data plans that are active for a set period, such as the 20GB plan that is valid for 30 days or the 10GB plan that is also valid for 30 days. These fixed‑data options are often more cost‑effective for travelers who do not consume extreme amounts of data. Travelers who need more flexibility can purchase a Pay‑as‑you‑go credit, but that feature is not listed in the current dataset for Africa.

Hiroaming does not offer Africa eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Africa eSIMs are data‑only, so travelers will need to use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for calls and text over the data connection. Some destinations in Africa may block or restrict specific VoIP applications, so it is advisable to confirm that the apps you rely on are accessible before purchasing a data‑only plan.

The Hiroaming network offers two African eSIM plans. The “Africa (21 areas)” plan provides coverage in DR Congo, Algeria, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Madagascar, Mauritius, Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Chad, Tunisia, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
