Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Kolet does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Africa. All of its Africa‑specific offerings list a hard data cap in the Data cap column, ranging from 5GB to 20GB, with validity periods of 30 days up to 365 days.

Travelers can choose fixed data plans such as the 20GB plan valid for 30 days at $68.99 USD or the 20GB plan valid for 365 days at the same price, and the 10GB plan valid for 30 days at $46.49 USD. These plans cover many African nations, including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Uganda, among others. Fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users compared to other pricing models, especially for moderate data consumption.

Kolet does not provide an Africa eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for Africa from this provider. Travelers who need voice or text functionality can consider using VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but such services may be blocked or restricted in some African destinations, so it is advisable to confirm that the chosen apps work locally before purchasing a plan.

Kolet’s Africa 1 plan covers Burkina Faso, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Kenya, Morocco, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Chad, Tunisia, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, and Zambia. The Global plan adds Cape Verde, Réunion, and Sudan to that same African list.
