nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Africa

nextSIM does not provide a true unlimited‑data eSIM for Africa. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually have a fixed daily data allowance and specify a reduced speed after the cap is reached, e.g. eSIM Unlimited Plus 5 Days Africa (2GB/day with reduced speed 2000 kbps) or eSIM Unlimited Standard 3 Days Africa (1GB/day with reduced speed 512 kbps). These plans are the best available for high‑speed data, but they are not unlimited.

If a traveler needs more data with fewer speed reductions, nextSIM offers larger fixed‑data packages such as the 50 GB 365‑day Economy plan covering several African countries. Choosing a fixed data plan may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users compared to the daily capped “Unlimited” options.

NextSIM does not provide Africa eSIM plans that include a phone number or support SMS. The provider offers only data‑only eSIM plans for that region.

Because no telephony or SMS capabilities are available, travelers can use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages, but a traditional phone number or SMS channel is not part of the plans.
