nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Africa

nextSIM does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Africa. The plans with “Unlimited” in the name provide 1GB or 2GB of high‑speed data—after that amount the speed is throttled to 512 kbps or 2000 kbps, respectively. These plans are fixed‑data offerings rather than truly unlimited high‑speed internet.

If a traveler needs more data, nextSIM provides larger fixed data plans for Africa. For example, a 50GB plan valid for 365 days is available for $126.78 USD, and a 30GB plan for 30 days costs $774.41 USD. Such fixed data plans offer higher volumes of data and may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

nextSIM does not provide Africa eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All eSIM offerings from nextSIM for African destinations are data‑only and do not support voice or text messages.

Travelers can still use the data connection for messaging and calling via VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, which operate over the internet and do not require a local phone number or SMS service.
