Nimbus eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Nimbus does not provide any unlimited data eSIM plans for Africa. Travelers who need more data can choose from Nimbus’ fixed‑data offers, such as the 20GB plan valid for 365 days or the 10GB plan valid for 180 days, both of which cover a wide range of African countries. These larger‑data options may be more cost‑effective for most users, especially those who are not extremely heavy data consumers.

Nimbus does not provide an Africa eSIM plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The provider currently offers only data‑only eSIMs for that region. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages, but there is no native telephone number or SMS service included with the plan.

Nimbus offers two e‑SIM packages that provide coverage across Africa. The Africa (/) plan serves the following countries: Burkina Faso, Benin, Botswana, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Algeria, Egypt, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea‑Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Eswatini (Swaziland), Chad, Togo, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Morocco, Réunion, and Tunisia. The Global (Gold) plan likewise covers all of these African nations in addition to a broad selection of non‑African destinations, which are not listed here.
