Yesim eSIM Data Plans for Africa

Yesim provides an unlimited eSIM plan for Africa that costs US$27.31 and is valid for 1 day. The plan supports 5G networks, allows tethering, and notes that the speed may be throttled after high‑usage periods.
Because the plan includes a Fair Usage Policy, speeds can be reduced after extensive data use. Travelers who are concerned about potential speed restrictions should contact Yesim directly to confirm whether the FUP applies to their usage and to learn the typical amount of data available at normal speed.

Yesim does not offer an Africa eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All Africa eSIM plans from Yesim are data‑only and do not provide inbound or outbound telephony services.

Travelers can still use popular VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection for calls and messaging.

Yesim offers two eSIM plan options that cover a broad range of African countries. The Africa plan includes Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Tunisia, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, and Zambia. The Global Plus Package extends that coverage to include Republic of the Congo, Algeria, Egypt, Gabon, Morocco, Mauritius, Malawi, Niger, Réunion, Sudan, and Senegal, in addition to the same list of countries from the Africa plan. Together, these plans provide eSIM service to 27 African countries that are part of the approved list.
