The provider’s Asian plans are all fixed‑data, with the largest option being 50GB valid for 180 days and others providing 20GB for 30 or 90 days. These plans feature 5G connectivity in numerous Asian countries and allow tethering. For most travelers a fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective, unless you are an extremely heavy data consumer and require unlimited usage.

Earth Esim does not provide a local phone number or SMS capability for its Asia eSIM plans. Travelers using an Earth Esim plan in Asia can rely on data‑only connectivity and use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage for voice calls and messaging, which work over a data connection and do not require a native phone number or SMS reception.
