Nomad eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Nomad does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for Asia. The plans that carry “unlimited” in their name actually provide fixed data allowances of 37.5 GB for 5 days or 75 GB for 10 days, after which the speed may be reduced. Travelers who need more data can choose fixed‑data plans such as the 50 GB plan valid for 45 days or the 50 GB plan valid for 365 days, both of which give a large amount of high‑speed data at a fixed price. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Nomad does not offer any eSIM plans for Asia that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Asia plans are data‑only; they do not provide voice or text services. Travelers who need voice or messaging can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection.

Nomad’s “Regional APAC” plans (including the “Regional APAC – –” sub‑variant) provide coverage in Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, Laos, Sri Lanka, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Pakistan, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Armenia and Israel. The “Regional Global” and “Regional Global‑EX” plans cover the same Asian countries and add additional Middle‑Eastern and worldwide destinations; those extra regions fall outside Asia.
