Soracom Mobile eSIM Data Plans for Asia

Soracom Mobile does not have an unlimited data eSIM plan for use across Asia. Their offerings are limited to fixed data packages.

Travelers can choose from several high‑capability options, such as the 10GB plan for 30 days priced at $89.99 USD (covering Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Macau, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Thailand, South Korea, India, Japan) or the same 10GB package for 30 days at $145.99 USD which adds China and Bangladesh to the coverage list. A 5GB or 3GB 30‑day plan is also available for a lower price point, making a fixed data plan more economical for most travelers unless extremely heavy data use is required.

Soracom Mobile does not currently provide an Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of its available plans for Asia are data‑only, without voice call or text message services, so travelers will not receive a local phone number that can receive calls or SMS messages.

Travelers who need to make or receive calls and send or receive text messages can use popular VoIP applications that operate over data connections, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, to communicate without a traditional phone number or SMS support.

Soracom Mobile eSIM plans offer coverage in a number of Asian countries. The “Asia Pacific 15” plan includes Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The “Asia Pacific 18” plan expands on this to also include Bangladesh, while both plans also offer coverage in regions outside of Asia.
