Soracom Mobile does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Asia. Their plans for the region are fixed‑data options. For example, the “Asia Pacific 15” plan allows 10GB of data for 30 days at $89.99 USD, and the same name also offers a 5GB version for 30 days at $46.99 USD. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless very high data consumption is expected.

Soracom Mobile does not currently provide an Asia eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. All of its available plans for Asia are data‑only, without voice call or text message services, so travelers will not receive a local phone number that can receive calls or SMS messages.

Travelers who need to make or receive calls and send or receive text messages can use popular VoIP applications that operate over data connections, such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage, to communicate without a traditional phone number or SMS support.

Soracom Mobile’s Asia‑Pacific plans encompass the following countries in the region: Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, Laos, Sri Lanka, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, as well as Bangladesh and China. The Asia Pacific 15 plan covers the first set of countries, while the Asia Pacific 18 plan covers those same nations plus Bangladesh and China.
