nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for the Balkans. All plans listed for the region have fixed data allowances, such as 100GB for 30 days or 50GB for 30 days, and the names that contain “Unlimited” actually refer to a set amount of high‑speed data (1 GB or 2 GB) that is granted per day; after the limit is reached the speed is throttled to either 512kbps or 2000kbps. Travelers who need continuous high‑speed connectivity without restrictions might consider other providers, while those who require large but capped data volumes can choose from the available fixed‑data plans, which can be more cost‑effective for most users.

nextSIM does not offer a Balkans eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available for that region. Travelers who need to communicate can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection and provide call and messaging functionality without needing a local phone number.

NextSIM’s eSIM plans cover a range of Balkan countries. The eSIM Balkans Standard bundle includes Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. The eSIM EUROPE Premium plan adds Kosovo to that list, covering all eight approved Balkan countries.
