nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for the Balkans. All plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name offer a fixed data allowance of 1GB per day or 2GB per day, after which the speed is reduced to 512kbps or 2000kbps respectively. Because the data limit is applied daily, the total usable data over the plan’s validity is finite.

Travelers who need a larger, unthrottled data share can choose from nextSIM’s fixed high‑data plans, such as the 50GB 30‑day Premium plan or the 50GB 365‑day Economy plan, which provide larger data caps without the daily restriction. These fixed data plans may be more cost‑effective for heavy data users than the daily “Unlimited” options.

nextSIM does not offer a Balkans eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available for that region. Travelers who need to communicate can rely on popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection and provide call and messaging functionality without needing a local phone number.

Plan names that cover all eight Balkan states are eSIM EUROPE Premium and eSIM GLOBAL Premium, which list Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo. Plan names that cover the same seven countries but exclude Kosovo – eSIM Global, eSIM Balkans, eSIM Unlimited Standard Global and eSIM Unlimited Plus Global – also specify coverage in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
