Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for Balkans countries

Sim Local does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for the Balkan region. Travelers who need a large amount of data can choose from the fixed‑data options currently available, such as the Orange Holiday World 20GB plan, which provides 20GB for 31 days and can be used in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Kosovo.

Another example is the Global 1GB 1day plan, which supplies 1GB for one day and is valid in Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia. While fixed data plans may be more cost‑effective for most users, they are the only options currently offered by Sim Local in the Balkans.

Sim Local does not provide Balkans eSIMs with a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only plans are sold for that region. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for voice calls and messaging.

Sim Local’s Balkan offerings are grouped into three main plans. The “Global eSIM” plan covers Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia, the “Global” plan adds Bulgaria to that set, and the “Orange Holiday World” plan further expands coverage to include Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo in addition to the same core Balkan countries.
