4S eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited data plan for Central America; its “LATAM+ Unlimited” packages give a daily allowance of 5GB/day for the MAX tier or 3GB/day for the STANDARD tier, and after the daily quota is reached the speed is throttled to 1000kbps. These plans carry the label “Unlimited” but include a fixed high‑speed data amount and a reduced speed once that limit is hit. Travelers who need higher data volumes without the speed reduction can choose one of 4S eSIM’s fixed‑data options, such as the 20GB plans that last from 5 days to 30 days, which offer higher total data allowances and no speed throttling until the prepaid amount is exhausted.

4S eSIM does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. All available 4S eSIM options for Central America are data‑only plans.

Users who need voice or text communication can use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection.
