Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Airalo does not offer a plan that delivers truly unlimited high‑speed data for Central America. The “Latamlink – Unlimited” plans provide 3 GB per day, after which the speed is reduced to 1000 kbps, so they are not unlimited in the sense of high‑speed data without limits. Travelers who need more data can choose from a range of fixed‑data plans. For example, a 20 GB plan is available for 15 days at $56.00 USD or for 30 days at $59.00 USD, and a 20 GB plan with a 365‑day validity costs $66.00 USD; a 10 GB plan for 7 days costs $40.00 USD. These fixed plans cover the major Central American countries and can be more cost‑effective unless a user requires high‑speed data for many consecutive days.

Airalo does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for Central America. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging needs.

Airalo provides two plans that cover Central America: the Latamlink plan, which includes Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, and the Discover plan, which likewise covers those five countries and extends coverage beyond Central America to many other regions worldwide.
