Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited eSIM for Central America. The plans titled “Latamlink – Unlimited” give 3GB of high‑speed data per day; after that limit the speed reduces to 1000kbps, so the data is throttled rather than remaining unlimited.

Instead, Airalo offers fixed‑data options that cover Central America. For example, the 20GB plan is available for 15 days at $56.00 USD or for 30 days at $59.00 USD, and a 10GB plan is available for 7 days at $40.00 USD. These fixed data plans may be more cost effective for travelers who need a substantial amount of high‑speed data without the risk of speed reductions.

Airalo does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for Central America. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging needs.

Airalo offers three eSIM plans that cover Central America: Discover, Latamlink, and Discover+.
