BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

BNESIM does not currently provide an unlimited data eSIM for Central America. All of the plans listed by BNESIM have fixed data allowances, ranging from 5GB to 20GB, with validity periods of 30 days or “unlimited” days.

Travelers who require a larger amount of data can choose a fixed‑data plan such as the 20GB per 30 days package, which is available for Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. Fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer who would prefer an unlimited option.

BNESIM does not provide Central America eSIMs that include a phone number or SMS capability. All available Central America eSIMs from BNESIM are data‑only plans, so travelers cannot receive phone calls or standard SMS messages. However, data connectivity allows the use of VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage for voice and text communication.

BNESIM’s “Surf in Global per” eSIM plan enables coverage in Central America for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
