BNESIM eSIM Data Plans for Central America

BNESIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Central America. Every plan in its current catalog has a fixed data cap: the most generous offers 100 GB, another tier provides 50 GB, and a smaller 20 GB plan is also available. Each of these choices can be purchased for either 30 days or as a no‑expiry allocation, but the data limit itself remains hard.

While BNESIM has no unlimited option, travelers who expect to use large amounts of data can select one of its higher‑capacity fixed plans. For example, the 100‑GB plan, available for 30 days or without an expiry date, delivers the largest data allowance and can be more economical than buying multiple smaller bundles if the user remains within that cap. If a user needs more data beyond the chosen allowance, they can simply top up with an additional plan.

BNESIM does not offer Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider’s Central America offerings are data‑only plans, so travelers will not receive a local line for voice or text messages.

Users can still make voice calls and send messages through VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations in Central America may block or restrict certain services. Travelers should verify that the apps they rely on are accessible in the specific country before purchasing a BNESIM data‑only eSIM.

BNESIM offers an eSIM plan called Surf in Global for that includes coverage in Central America, specifically Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, and Honduras. The same plan also extends to many other global destinations, but within the Central American region these five countries are the ones served.
