Kolet eSIM Data Plans for Central America

Kolet does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America. Travelers who need high‑volume data can choose from several fixed‑data options instead. For example, a 20GB plan that covers Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador and 128 other countries is valid for 365 days and costs $82.49 USD, while a 10GB plan covering the same region for 30 days costs $61.49 USD. These fixed plans can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Kolet does not provide an eSIM plan for Central America that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The only available Kolet offerings in this region are data‑only eSIM plans, which allow internet access but do not support traditional voice or text services. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for calling and messaging.

Kolet’s eSIM offerings for Central America cover Costa Rica, Panama and El Salvador. One plan includes additional coverage in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay. A second, much broader plan covers a wide range of countries and territories across Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, many of which lie outside Central America. Neither plan includes Nicaragua or Honduras.
