MicroEsim eSIM Data Plans for Central America

MicroEsim does not offer an unlimited data eSIM plan for Central America. All available plans in this region have a capped data allowance.

MicroEsim does provide several fixed data plans that cover Central America. For example, the 20GB plan is available for 30 days at $69.82 USD and provides 5G coverage in Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and seven other countries. A 10GB plan is also offered for 30 days at $37.71 USD. These fixed‑data options can be more cost‑effective for most travelers, but an unlimited data plan is not available from MicroEsim for Central America.

MicroEsim does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIMs are available from the provider. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection to make calls and send messages.

MicroEsim offers two eSIM plans that cover Central America. The “Caribbean 12 Countries / Total” plan provides coverage for Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, and El Salvador, while the “Caribbean + Latin America 33 Countries / Daily” plan extends that coverage to include Panama as well, bringing the total to all five Central American nations—Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and El Salvador—alongside additional coverage in other Caribbean and Latin American regions.
