mobineX eSIM Data Plans for Central America

mobineX’s plans branded “Unlimited” in Central America all carry data caps – they range from 1 GB to 65 GB over validity periods of 1 to 10 days. After the cap is reached the speed drops, for example to 128 kbps after 1 GB on the Unlimited Standard plan and to 1024 kbps after 5 GB on Unlimited Gold. Therefore there is no truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM offered by mobineX for Central America.

Consumers who need larger, steady data allowances can select mobineX’s fixed‑data plans, such as a 100 GB bundle for 60 days (priced between $480–$567) or a 50 GB bundle for 30 days ($249). These fixed data plans provide a larger data pool and can be more cost‑effective for users requiring extensive data use.

MobineX does not provide Central America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS. Only data‑only eSIMs are available for the region. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging.

MobineX offers plans such as Unlimited Standard and Unlimited – that collectively cover Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, and Honduras. The Unlimited Standard plan includes coverage for Costa Rica, Panama and El Salvador, while its extended version and the Unlimited – plan also add Honduras and Nicaragua to the list, ensuring all five Central American countries are served.
