Maya Mobile does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for East Asia. Every plan listed offers a fixed high‑speed allowance of 5GB per day; once that daily limit is reached, the speed is throttled to 3000kbps. Travelers who need more data can choose the available fixed‑data plans. For example, the 30‑day Global Data plan costs $49.99 USD and gives 5GB/day, and the 7‑day Global Data plan costs $19.99 USD with the same daily allowance. Both plans allow tethering and cover China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Macau, Taiwan and 171 other countries. If a user expects a very heavy data usage, a fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective than a truly unlimited option.

Maya Mobile does not offer any East Asia eSIM plan that includes a phone number for voice calls or SMS. All East Asia eSIMs provided by Maya Mobile are strictly data‑only.

You can still make calls and send messages using popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage over the data connection included in the eSIM plan.
