Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Europe

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Europe. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a daily data allowance of 3 GB or 5 GB, after which the speed is throttled to 1000 kbps. Travelers who need more data without a daily cap can choose fixed‑data plans such as the EUconnect 50 GB plan, valid for 30 days, or the Eurolink 100 GB plan, valid for 180 days. These fixed‑data options are often more cost‑effective for users who consume large amounts of data, while the “Unlimited” plans may be suitable for lighter usage.

Airalo does not offer any Europe eSIM plans that include a local phone number or SMS capability. Travelers looking for a data‑only plan can still use Airalo, and all of the data can support popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage for calls and messaging. However, some destinations in Europe may block or restrict certain VoIP apps, so it is wise to confirm that the apps you intend to use are accessible in your chosen country before purchasing an eSIM.
