eSIM Cards does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Latin America. The provider’s offering for the region consists of fixed data plans. For example, the Global 100 GB for 5 days plan and the Global 100 GB for 10 days plan give you 100 GB of high‑speed data, are valid for 5 or 10 days respectively, cost $62.67 USD and $69.48 USD, and allow tethering on 5G networks in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay and 89 additional countries. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective, especially for travelers who are not extremely heavy data users.

eSIM Cards does not provide eSIM plans for Latin America (LATAM) that include a phone number or SMS capability. Only data‑only eSIM plans are available for that region.

Travelers can still communicate with contacts internationally by using VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which operate over the data connection without requiring a local phone number or SMS support.

The eSIM Cards provider offers a plan called “Global for” that includes Latin American coverage in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Uruguay; while the same plan also spans many other regions beyond Latin America, the countries listed above are the only Latin American nations covered by this eSIM plan.
