eSimfly does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South America. All of its South American plans have a specified data cap, ranging from 1GB to 3GB per day for the short‑term “Unlimited” titles and up to 20GB for longer validity options. After the allocated high‑speed data is used, the speed is reduced to a lower tier.

Travelers who need more data without the threat of throttling can choose a fixed‑data plan instead. For example, a 20GB 30‑day plan is available for $55.93 USD, and a 20GB 365‑day plan can be purchased for $99.45 USD or $128.35 USD depending on the packaging. These fixed‑data packages offer full‑speed data for the entire allowance and may be more economical for heavy data users.

eSimfly does not currently provide an eSIM plan for South America that includes a phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. The eSIMs available from eSimfly for South America are data‑only, allowing use of 5G/4G and Wi‑Fi networks while relying on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage for voice and messaging.
