Giga.Tel does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South America. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name in Giga.Tel’s catalog actually offer a 1GB per day allowance; once the 1GB limit is reached the speed is throttled to 512 kbps. For travelers who need more high‑speed data, Giga.Tel offers fixed‑data alternatives such as the 50 GB plan valid for 30 days at $124.49 USD or the 20 GB plan also valid for 30 days at $55.49 USD. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective unless a user anticipates an extremely heavy data usage.

Giga.Tel does not provide an eSIM plan that includes a phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS in South America.
