Jetpac does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data plan for South America. The plans that carry the label “Unlimited” actually give a fixed 3GB per day and reduce speed to 1000 kbps once that amount is reached, so they are not unlimited in the full sense.

Instead, Jetpac offers fixed‑data eSIMs with larger allowances that may be more suitable for heavy data use. For instance, a Global 30GB plan is available for 30 days at $69.99 USD, and a Global 40GB plan is priced at $99.99 USD for a 30‑day validity. These options give users a set amount of high‑speed data without the speed throttling that occurs after a capped “unlimited” limit.

Jetpac does not offer eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for South America. Travelers who need connectivity in South America will only find data‑only eSIM options from Jetpac.

For voice and text communication, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection.
