Jetpac eSIM Data Plans for South America

Jetpac does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for South America. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their name actually give 3GB of high‑speed data per day; once that amount is reached the speed is throttled to 1000kbps. These are fixed data plans, not unlimited ones.

If a traveler needs a larger data allowance, Jetpac offers fixed data plans such as Global 50GB for 365 days, Global 40GB for 30 days, and Global 30GB for 30 days. These plans provide a larger hard cap and can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless the traveler is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Jetpac does not offer eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for South America. Travelers who need connectivity in South America will only find data‑only eSIM options from Jetpac.

For voice and text communication, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations may block or restrict certain apps, so travelers should verify that the services they need are accessible in the specific South American country they will visit before purchasing a plan.

Jetpac offers two eSIM plans that cover South America: the Global – Unlimited plan and the Latin America plan. Each of these plans provides coverage in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, and Uruguay. No additional South‑American countries are listed under either plan.
