nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for South America

nextSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for South America. The plans that carry the “Unlimited” name each contain a fixed high‑speed allowance of either 1GB or 2GB per day; once that limit is reached the speed is reduced to 512kbps or 2000kbps for the remainder of the validity period.

Travelers who need larger data volumes can opt for one of the fixed‑data plans that nextSIM offers for South America, such as the 50GB 30Days Standard plan priced at $136.47 USD or the 20GB 30Days Standard plan at $60.46 USD. These plans provide a larger amount of high‑speed data without throttling, and may be more cost effective for users who consume data heavily.

nextSIM does not provide South America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for travelers. If phone calls or text messages are needed, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection and do not require a local phone number.
