nextSIM eSIM Data Plans for South America

nextSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for South America. All “Unlimited” plans listed are limited to 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day; after the data cap is reached the speed throttles to 512 kbps or 2 000 kbps, respectively. Travelers who need more data without such throttling can choose fixed‑data plans instead. For example, nextSIM offers a 50 GB plan for 30 days (value $1, 279 USD) or a 10 GB plan for 30 days (value $173.25 USD) that cover South and Central America. These options provide larger data allowances and may be more cost effective for heavy data users.

nextSIM does not provide South America eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only eSIMs for travelers. If phone calls or text messages are needed, users can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data connection and do not require a local phone number.
