Tourist eSIM does not provide a truly unlimited high‑speed data eSIM for South America. The plans marked “Unlimited” actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data—such as 2GB per day or 3GB per day—and after that limit is reached the speed reduces to 2000kbps or 1000kbps, depending on the plan.

For travelers who require more data, Tourist eSIM offers fixed data plans, such as a 100GB plan valid for 31 days, an 80GB plan valid for 365 days, and a 50GB plan valid for 31 days. These plans give a larger data allowance at a flat price and can be more cost‑effective for heavy data users.

Tourist eSIM does not provide a South America eSIM that includes a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans for South America are data‑only. Travelers can still use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging without a traditional phone number.
