Wiiline eSIM Data Plans for South America

Wiiline does not offer a truly unlimited data eSIM for South America. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” provide only 1 GB per day; once that daily limit is reached the speed is reduced, which is not the same as having unlimited high‑speed data.

Instead, Wiiline sells fixed‑data plans that cover South America. For example, a 20 GB plan for 30 days costs $37.38, a 10 GB plan for 30 days costs $26.13, a 40 GB plan for 180 days costs $75.51, and an 80 GB plan for 365 days costs $150. These options may be more economical for travelers who use a lot of data.

Wiiline does not provide an eSIM with a local phone number or SMS capability for travelers visiting South America. The provider’s plans for that region are strictly data‑only.

Because there is no native voice or text service, visitors can still communicate using data‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which run over an Internet connection.
