AloOui eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

AloOui does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name give a fixed amount of high‑speed data—either 1GB per day or 2GB per day—after which the speed is reduced to a lower tier (512 kbps or 2 Mbps). Once the daily allowance is used, the remaining data is still available but at the throttled speed, so the plan is not unlimited in the sense of continuous high‑speed data.

Travelers who need large data allowances can choose one of AloOui’s fixed data plans. For example, the Asia eSIM Unlimited Plus 2GB/day then 2 Mbps 1 Day plan offers 2GB of full‑speed data each day with a 2 Mbps speed after the limit, while the Asia eSIM Unlimited Lite 1GB/day then 512 kbps 1 Day plan provides 1GB of full‑speed data daily before throttling to 512 kbps. These fixed data plans can be more cost‑effective for most users unless they are extremely heavy data consumers.

AloOui does not offer any eSIM plan for Southeast Asia that includes a phone number or SMS capability; all available plans are data‑only. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in Southeast Asia may block or restrict access to these apps, so users should verify that the services they rely on work there before purchasing a plan.
