AloOui eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

AloOui does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. All of the plans labeled “Unlimited” give a fixed amount of high‑speed data—such as 1 GB per day or 2 GB per day in the case of their “Plus” variants—and then reduce the speed to 512 kbps or 1.25 Mbps once the cap is reached.

Instead, AloOui offers fixed‑data options that are often more cost‑effective for typical travelers. For example, the Asia Long Trip eSIM 100 GB 90 days plan provides 100 GB of 5G data that can be used over 90 days, and the Global – Light eSIM 100 GB 90 days plan gives the same data allowance with coverage that includes Southeast Asia plus many other countries. These plans allow unlimited use of the allocated data while avoiding the speed throttling that occurs on the “Unlimited” plans.

AloOui does not offer any eSIM plan for Southeast Asia that includes a phone number or SMS capability; all available plans are data‑only. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, some destinations in Southeast Asia may block or restrict access to these apps, so users should verify that the services they rely on work there before purchasing a plan.

AloOui offers five eSIM plans that each cover the Southeast Asian countries of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The plans are called Asia eSIM, Global eSIM, Global‑Light eSIM, Global‑Standard eSIM and Global‑Max eSIM; all of them include the same set of Southeast Asian countries and also provide coverage in a number of additional regions outside Southeast Asia.
