eSIMCard’s plans that use the title “Unlimited” are not truly unlimited high‑speed data. Each of those offerings is capped at either 1GB or 2GB per day, and after the cap is reached the speed is reduced to 512kbps or 2000kbps. For travelers who need more data without these throttling limits, eSIMCard sells fixed‑data plans that provide larger allowances over longer periods. For example, a 100GB eSIM Data plan for 30 days in Southeast Asia is available for $109.25 USD, and a 100GB plan for 180 days in the same region costs $132.43 USD. These fixed plans give high‑speed data without the daily caps or reduced speeds that accompany the “Unlimited”‑named plans.

eSIMCard does not provide Southeast Asia eSIMs that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for the region. Travelers can still use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but no native telephony or SMS support is included.
