eSIMCard does not offer truly unlimited high‑speed data plans for Southeast Asia. The items tagged “Unlimited” in its catalogue actually allow 1GB of high‑speed data per plan, after which the speed drops to 500kbps. These plans cover Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and nine additional Southeast Asian countries, but they are not unlimited in the sense of providing data without a cap or throttling.

Instead, eSIMCard provides fixed‑data options that may be more suitable for larger data needs. For example, a 100GB plan valid for 90 days costs $215.69 USD, another 100GB plan valid for 180 days costs $258.63 USD, and a 50GB plan valid for 90 days costs $109.05 USD. These plans give a substantial high‑speed data allowance throughout Southeast Asia and can be a more cost effective choice for travelers who need more data than the so‑called “Unlimited” plans offer.

eSIMCard does not provide Southeast Asia eSIMs that include a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans for the region. Travelers can still use popular VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging, but no native telephony or SMS support is included.
