MoodSIM does not provide a true unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. All of its “Unlimited” plans actually set a fixed daily data allowance—such as 500 MB/day or 1 GB/day—after which the speed drops to 128 kbps or 384 kbps. These plans are marketed as unlimited, but the high‑speed data is capped, and the reduced speed is applied once the threshold is reached.

Instead, MoodSIM offers fixed‑data plans that may be more cost‑effective for heavy users. For example, a 20 GB plan for 30 days costs $27.49 USD, and a 50 GB plan for 180 days costs $61.49 USD. Both plans provide unlimited 5G coverage across Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be preferable if a traveler needs a larger, uninterrupted data allowance.

MoodSIM does not provide eSIM plans for Southeast Asia that include a phone number or SMS capability. All Southeast Asia m‑SIMs from MoodSIM are data‑only and do not support voice calls or text messaging. Travelers who need voice or messaging can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection.
