Sim Local eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

Sim Local does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. Travelers can choose from fixed data plans that cover the region. Examples include the 20‑GB Asia 20 GB plan priced at $35.00 USD for 31 days, the 3‑GB World 3 plan at $14.00 USD for 31 days, and the 1‑GB Global 1 GB 1 Day plan at $6.75 USD for a single day. These plans cover Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and surrounding countries. Selecting a fixed data plan may be more cost‑effective unless the user is an extremely heavy data consumer.

Sim Local does not provide eSIM plans with a phone number or SMS capability for Southeast Asia. All Southeast Asia eSIMs from Sim Local are data‑only, allowing only high‑speed internet without voice or text services. Travelers using these data connections can still communicate with VoIP apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, which work over the data network.

Sim Local’s eSIM plans cover Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei in Southeast Asia. The Global eSIM for and Global plans provide coverage for Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. The World and Asia plans extend that to include Cambodia and Laos in addition to the same first six countries. Orange Holiday World further adds Brunei to its coverage, while still covering Cambodia and Laos along with the other Southeast Asian nations; none of the plans list Timor‑Leste or Myanmar.
