Stixrs eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

Stixrs does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. The plans that include “Unlimited” in their name actually provide a daily cap of 3 GB and throttle speed to 1000 kbps once the limit is reached.

For travelers who need extended high‑speed access, Stixrs offers fixed data plans. Examples include the Asia Standard 50 GB 30‑day plan at $55.00 USD and the Asia Standard 20 GB 15‑day plan at $25.50 USD. Both plans cover Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam and provide a large amount of data at full speed, making them potentially more cost‑effective for most users.

Stixrs does not offer a Southeast Asia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only sells data‑only plans for that region. Travelers who need to make calls or send messages can use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but they should verify that these services are accessible in Southeast Asia before purchasing a plan, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps.

Stixrs provides eSIM plans that cover the following Southeast Asian countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Brunei. For instance, the Southeast Asia Standard data eSIM Plus plan includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, while the Global Standard data eSIM plan expands the list to include Cambodia and Laos. The Global Standard data eSIM Plus plan further extends coverage to Brunei. Other plans such as Asia Standard data eSIM, Asia Standard data eSIM Plus, and Asia Unlimited data eSIM ps include various combinations of these countries but remain focused on the Southeast Asian region, without extending beyond it.
