Tourist eSIM does not provide truly unlimited high‑speed plans for Southeast Asia. Every plan that carries “Unlimited” in its name actually offers a fixed data allowance; for example, the Asia 30 Days Unlimited plan provides 5 GB/day and after that limit the speed drops to 1000 kbps. Other fixed‑data choices include the Global 31 Days 100 GB plan, which gives 100 GB of high‑speed data over 31 days, and the Global 180 Days 100 GB plan for 180 days.

Because all the “Unlimited” options are capped, a fixed‑data plan can be a more cost‑effective choice unless a traveller is willing to tolerate reduced speeds after the cap. These plans still cover the major Southeast Asian countries, but they do not offer unrestricted data usage.

Tourist eSIM does not provide eSIM plans for Southeast Asia that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider only offers data‑only plans in this region. Travelers can still use popular VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage over the data connection for voice and messaging without a local phone number.

Tourist eSIM offers several plan categories that all include the core Southeast Asian nations—Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, Timor‑Leste and Myanmar—whether under the “Southeast Asia” or “Asia” titles, as well as in its broader Global packages, which in addition cover many territories outside this region.
