UPeSIM eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

UPeSIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Southeast Asia. All of its Southeast Asian plans impose a data cap, with the largest available plan offering 10GB of data for 30 days or 60 days. Travelers who need more data can consider these fixed data options; for example, the 10GB 30‑day plan covers Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and eight additional countries, while the 10GB 60‑day plan covers the same core countries plus 148 others worldwide. Choosing a fixed data plan is typically more cost‑effective unless a user requires an extremely high volume of data that would exceed the cap of the available options.

UPeSIM does not provide any Southeast Asia eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability. The available plans are data‑only, allowing internet access for 4G or 5G networks but not supporting voice calls or text messages.

Travelers who need to make phone calls or send messages can rely on VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection. However, availability of these services can vary by destination within Southeast Asia, so users should confirm that the apps they intend to use are accessible before purchasing.
