GLOBAL YO eSIM Data Plans for Southeast Asia

GLOBAL YO does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Southeast Asia. All of the plans listed in the dataset for Southeast Asia feature a fixed data cap of 100 GB. The plans differ mainly in validity and coverage, but none offer unlimited data usage.

If a traveler needs a large data allowance, GLOBAL YO offers fixed plans such as the Asia Explorer XL – a 60‑day plan with 100 GB that covers Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and 24 other countries, and the Global Explorer 100 – a 365‑day plan with 100 GB that covers 100 countries in the region. Choosing a fixed data plan can be more cost‑effective for most users, unless an extremely heavy data consumer requires an unlimited option, which is not currently available from GLOBAL YO for Southeast Asia.

GLOBAL YO does not offer any eSIM plans that include a phone number or SMS capability for Southeast Asia. The provider sells only data‑only eSIMs in that region, so travelers will need to rely on internet‑based messaging and calling apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage for voice and text communication.

GLOBAL YO’s eSIM plans cover Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Asia Explorer XL plan includes Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Asia Explorer XXL adds Brunei, Cambodia, and Laos to that list, covering all those except Myanmar. The Global Explorer Lite and Global Explorer (Stand w'Ukraine) plans cover Brunei, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Lastly, the Global Explorer 150 plan covers Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
