AirPlans eSIM Data Plans for Réunion

AirPlans does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Réunion. The plans that carry “Unlimited” in their name actually offer a fixed amount of high‑speed data—such as 1 GB per day or 3 GB per day—and after that limit the speed is throttled to a reduced rate. For travelers who need more data, AirPlans offers fixed data plans with larger allowances, such as the 50 GB 30‑day plan, the 30 GB 30‑day plan, or the 15 GB 30‑day plan, which provide high‑speed data for the full validity period without a hard cap.

AirPlans does not offer a Réunion eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability. The provider only sells data‑only eSIMs for the island. Travelers who need voice or text can use VoIP services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but the availability of these services can vary and should be verified for Réunion before purchasing.

AirPlans offers 38 single‑country plans and 29 multi‑country plans that include Réunion. The selection includes 25 daily‑data‑cap options and 42 fixed‑data‑cap options; daily caps limit the amount used each day, while fixed caps provide a total allotment for the entire validity period. Prices range from roughly $1.34 to $197.92, data caps span from 500 MB up to 50 GB, and validity periods extend from one to sixty days.
