eSIMCard eSIM Data Plans for Réunion

eSIMCard does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Réunion. All plans that appear in the catalogue with “Unlimited” in the title actually give a fixed amount of high‑speed data – 1GB per day or 2GB per day – and after that amount is used the speed is reduced to either 512kbps or 2000kbps. For example, the 7‑day plan offers 1GB/day and throttles to 512kbps, while the 7‑day “Unlimited Plus” plan provides 2GB/day and throttles to 2000kbps.

If a traveler needs a larger, constant data allowance, eSIMCard offers fixed‑data options such as 100GB for 30 days priced at $54.58, 100GB for 30 days at $141.69, or 100GB for 180 days at $171.82. These plans give a set data volume without the after‑limit throttling that applies to the “Unlimited”‑named plans.

eSIMCard does not provide eSIM plans for Réunion that include a phone number or SMS capability. The provider offers only data‑only plans. Travelers can still use VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage over the data connection, but some destinations may block or restrict specific apps or services, so checking that the apps you rely on work in Réunion before purchasing is advisable.

eSIMCard offers 31 single‑country plans and 96 multi‑country plans for Réunion. The available plans range in price from about $1.39 to $395.07 and provide between 1 GB and 100 GB of data. Plans come in two principal varieties: fixed data‑cap plans, which grant a set amount of data for the entire validity period, and daily‑data‑cap plans, which limit the amount of data that can be used each day.
