Hungry eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Réunion

Hungry eSIM does not offer any truly unlimited data eSIM for Réunion. All of its plans listed for the island have fixed data caps and include a reduced speed after the daily or total data threshold reaches, so the names that contain “Unlimited” refer only to the daily quota, not to an unrestricted data allowance.

Instead, Hungry eSIM provides fixed‑data plans that give a set amount of high‑speed data for a specified period. For example, the “Reunion eSIM Data – 30 Day / 20GB” plan offers 20GB of data for 30 days, and the “Reunion eSIM Data – 30 Day / 10GB” plan provides 10GB for 30 days. These fixed‑data options are suitable for most travelers to Réunion.

Hungry eSIM does not provide a plan that includes a phone number or SMS capability for travelers to Réunion. Only data‑only eSIMs are available, so the user will not receive inbound or outbound voice or text messages on a local number.

With the data plan, the traveler can still carry out voice and messaging through internet‑based services such as WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage. It is advisable to confirm that the VoIP applications to be used are accessible in Réunion, as some destinations may block or restrict certain apps or services.

Hungry eSIM offers 11 single‑country plans and 9 multi‑country plans that include Réunion. The plans vary from as little as 500 MB to 20 GB of data and range in price from about $1.86 to $179.36, with validity periods from one day up to a full year. Some plans include reduced speed options of 512 kB/s or 1 MB/s for specific data caps.
