NXTL eSIM eSIM Data Plans for Russia

NXTL eSIM does not provide an unlimited data eSIM for Russia.
The available Russia‑specific plans are Pay‑as‑you‑go data credits, the most prominent being the Russian Federation 9.4GB Best value PAYG. This plan offers approximately 9.4 GB of high‑speed data at the local rate, with no fixed validity period; unused balance persists for future trips, and additional credit can be added at any time. Travelers can also choose the Europe 7.6GB or Global 6.3GB PAYG options, which provide similar Pay‑as‑you‑go data credit usable across many countries, including Russia, with the same ability to top up and carry balance forward.

NXTL eSIM does not provide a Russia eSIM that includes a local phone number or SMS capability; only data‑only plans are available for Russia. Travelers needing voice or messaging while in Russia can use internet‑based VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage, but some destinations may block or restrict these services, so it is advisable to check that the apps you rely on are accessible in Russia before purchasing a plan.

NXTL eSIM offers a single type of data credit for Russia, available for purchase at a fixed price of approximately $11.99. The credit comes in several top‑up sizes, each valued at a different amount of data at the local rate, roughly between 6 GB and 9 GB. Because the credit has no expiry, any unused balance can be kept in the account for future use, allowing travelers to add more credit whenever needed. The usage is pay‑as‑you‑go, so data is deducted from the balance only as it is consumed. Tethering is permitted with this credit, providing additional flexibility for sharing connectivity.
