MobiMatter eSIM Data Plans for Russia

MobiMatter does not provide an unlimited data eSIM plan for Russia. The available options are fixed‑data plans, such as 20GB for 30 days at $26.49 USD, 10GB for 30 days at $15.49 USD, 5GB for 30 days at $9.49 USD, and a 3GB or 2GB plan for shorter validity periods. These plans allow tethering and cover Russia and nearby countries but have set data caps. Choosing a fixed‑data plan can be more cost‑effective for most travelers unless one expects extremely heavy data usage.

MobiMatter does not currently provide Russia eSIMs that include a local phone number or the ability to send or receive SMS. Travelers can purchase data‑only packages from MobiMatter for use in Russia, and can rely on voice and messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage to conduct calls and send messages over the data connection.
