Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Sierra Leone

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sierra Leone. The plans that carry the word “Unlimited” in their names offer a daily allowance of 3 GB per day, after which the connection is throttled to 1000 kbps, so the high‑speed data is not unlimited.

If you need a large quantity of high‑speed data, Airalo offers fixed‑data plans such as Discover – 20 GB and Discover – 10 GB, both valid for 365 and 180 days respectively, or the Buncenet – 5 GB plan, valid for 7 days. These plans provide a fixed data allowance without a daily cap and can be more cost effective for most travelers who simply need substantial data for browsing, streaming, and light usage.

Airalo does not currently offer eSIM plans in Sierra Leone that include a local phone number or SMS capability.
Only data‑only eSIMs are available for that country, so travelers cannot receive or send standard SMS messages directly through the network. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a phone number.

Airalo currently offers nine single‑country plans that cover only Sierra Leone and 23 multi‑country plans that include Sierra Leone.
