Airalo eSIM Data Plans for Sierra Leone

Airalo does not provide a truly unlimited data eSIM for Sierra Leone. The only plans branded “Unlimited” offer a capped allowance of 3GB per day, after which the speed drops to 1000 kbps. For travelers who want unrestricted high‑speed data, Airalo sells fixed‑data plans. One example is the Discover – 20 GB plan, which delivers 20 GB of high‑speed data for 15 days at a price of $65.00, and another is the Discover – 10 GB plan that provides 10 GB for 7 days at $55.00. If a user requires extensive data usage, selecting a fixed‑data plan may be more cost‑effective than opting for a capped “Unlimited” option.

Airalo does not currently offer eSIM plans in Sierra Leone that include a local phone number or SMS capability.
Only data‑only eSIMs are available for that country, so travelers cannot receive or send standard SMS messages directly through the network. However, VoIP applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and iMessage can be used over the data connection to make calls and send messages without needing a phone number.

Airalo currently offers nine single‑country plans that cover only Sierra Leone and 23 multi‑country plans that include Sierra Leone.
